Jennifer Lopez returns with a new album after more than a year of delays to its launch, but the wait was worth it for fans of the artist and not disappoint those who like the pop-dance sounds and R&B and hip hop. The latest album from J. Lo Brave was a partial failure, but with this new album comes stronger than ever.
LOVE?, Is an album that surprises, is the first time a J. Lo album sounds as good on a set of songs that are a mix of the old J. Lo and a dance diva. Songs like I'm into you, Run the World, One Love and Starting Over recall the work she did in J to tha LO! (2002) and This Is Me ... Then (2002), a mixture of hip-hop and a sultry voice and provocative, the pop sound of Invading My Mind, (What is) Love? and Villain. The mid-tempo Until Beats No More though it is not as strong in the set, has the stronger voice on the album. Who has not danced and listened to On the Floor?, It is one of the exciting points of the album, along with the provocative Papi, with a very Girl Power message which invites women to be sexy, but if I choose one will be Hypnotic, is sexy, funny, danceable and has an incredible power while shouting Hypnoti-Notico!
As usual the bonus tracks surprised more that some songs in the standard album. Everybody's Girl is treated differently to the track leaked some time ago and it sounds much better now, Charge me up has a sound electro-pop (catchy), Take Care is a typical Jenny from the block, and we add you Spanish version of On The Floor.
This album quite cohesive, unusual in a J. Lo album which usually is always full with fillers, and surprising even though several of the songs had been leaked long ago, and she should not envy anything released by Britney and Lady Gaga, Jennifer has shown to play well and make an album full of songs that identify and characterize her very well.
