Grammy Awards 2011

Last night was the Grammy, the truth was a good show if you compared to how boring it was in other years.

The big winners of the night were Lady Antebellum with 5 awards including Record and Song of the year for their hit single Need You Now. The album of the year award was The Suburbs by Arcade Fire and the Best New Artist was Esperanza Spalding.

On live performances, some were very good and entertaining, others went from serious to boring, but in general were good like Gwyneth with Cee Lo Green singing Forget You, Arcade Fire, Katy Perry, the tribute to Aretha Franklin and the best - in my opinion - was Muse. The most anticipated show of the night was Lady Gaga and her new single Born This Way, and I have to say that again with so many expectations the only thing that happened it was a big disappointment with a performance that was nothing out of this world.

  1. This has got to be one of the best albums I've heard in quite some time. Normally when I purchase an entire album I find I really like some songs, feel ambivilant about a few, and don't care for one or two. This is one of those albums where I like pretty much every song.
