Florrie is an English singer-songwriter who worked on composition and production processes with Xenomania and took a chance on her own project and after her acclaimed EP Introduction, gives us this new EP entitled Experiments, and the name cannot be more appropriate since it is a delicious blend of electronic sounds and europop influences and eighties touches.
In Experiments you’re not going to find mainstream type of songs and even if for short moments we remember the best pop moments of Xenomania like Girls Aloud Untouchable or Giving You Up by Kylie Minogue, every song on this EP is outstanding for its excellent production and makes each melody addictive and different.
Experiments is an EP loaded with electronic sounds, but also has a relax moment on What You Doing This For?, and the eighties sound of I Took a Little Something that invites us to dance with each beat. The EP closes with a song totally different and can be categorized into something like a mariachi-electro-pop She Always Gets What She Wants.
This is an EP that although it contains only 6 songs, offers a different sound to what is often heard on radio and is an obligatory album if you are a electro-dance-pop lover.
