Review: Simon Curtis - Superhero (single)

If there is something I really miss is the 90's pop, cheerful and catchy choruses, and there are just a few artists who can make songs that sound new and exciting with that style, and Simon Curtis is one of them.

We know that Curtis is a fan of 90's pop, and managed to incorporate into his new single Superhero the essence and the sound of Swedish pop that made famous bands such as NSYNC, A-Teens and Ace of Base, and mixed with an electronic and a dark sound, the result: One of the most exciting pop songs this year. The lyrics talks about fight for dreams, without sounding clichéd or sound like other pop songs that talk about the same subject.

Simon Curtis is preparing to launch his new album RΔ in the summer, while we wait, take a listen to the single Superhero, and for those  who don’t know about him, I invite to listen his first album 8Bit Heart and download it for free from his website simon- curtis.com
