Review: Melanie C - Rock Me (single)

Melanie C, ex Spice Girl and better known as Sporty Spice debuts her new single to be released on June 24 part of what will be her fifth studio album.

The single is titled Rock Me, and is a triumphant return of Mel C to pop. The song written by her and Dave Roth is a perfect blend of pop rock with some elements that have always characterized her and a dance and electro touches that make it a perfect tune to radio and this will be the official song of the 2011 Women's World Cup.

Mel C solo career has been identified for trying out different sounds and Rock Me takes her to a very commercial sound and it could be a big hit for her. Leaving aside the fact that she was a Spice Girl, this song stands out from her previous solo work.
