Review: Ultraviolet Sound - UVS

Ultraviolet Sound, or also known as UVS, is a musical project of singer / songwriter Sarah Hudson. With this project in 2008 had the opportunity to share the stage with artists such as Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Robyn and N.E.R.D, among others. Last year they released a single entitled Suck My Kiss, and this week are releasing their full album on iTunes.

UVS album is hard to describe but it's great from start to finish. Although its focus is the electro-pop is not easy to compare with the music now, does not sound like Lady Gaga, does not sound like Kylie Minogue, does not sound like something you normally hear on radio. There are energetic songs like Robot Lover and Dead on the Dancefloor, the electronic sound Misfit Electric, Girl Talk and Got That Feeling, the sound partying sound of Fuckdup and P-A-R-T-Y, but the highlight of the album are the songs which sound more sensual and sexual like the wonderful Careless and Free, the exciting La La Love, Now or Never and the first single Suck My Kiss.

For all the pop lovers this is a recommended album, is a blend of the best electro-pop sound, catching rhythms, heavy synths and funny lyrics, to give you an idea here’s the promotional video where you can listen to each song on the album in just one music video.
